What will it cost to renovate my kitchen?Material choices, layout changes and permit requirements are a few variables that will dictate how much your kitchen renovation will cost. As a rough estimate, you can expect to spend roughly $195 per square foot. This figure should serve as a starting point but will fluctuate based on the factors such as the ones listed above. For a more accurate assessment, let us provide you with a detailed quote that is tailored to your specific needs and preferences.
How long will it take to complete?A reasonable starting off point would be to assume it will take 12 weeks to complete your kitchen renovation, that timeline will change though depending on variables such as the size of the kitchen, availability of materials, complexity of work, etc.
Will I need permits for the job?As a general rule of thumb, permits may be required if you are moving interior walls or existing plumbing, electrical or gas lines. We will be happy to review your kitchen plans and let you know if permits will be required.
Do you have insurance?Yes! We have our insurance through National Home Warranty.
Can we stay on the property while you renovate?Absolutely, there will be times where you will not have any use of your kitchen, but Quantum will work with you to make the process as smooth as possible.
Can you provide local references?We are always happy to provide references. We have quite the collection of happy customers who will tell you all about the kitchen renovation process and how Quantum could bring their visions to life.
How do you ensure project costs stay within the original budget?To ensure a project stays within budget, it is important to be spending additional time during the planning phase to iron out details. Having quotes from the sub trades, materials picked out and the scope of work clearly defined before starting the renovation will help dramatically with keeping the project on budget. It is also important to have a healthy contingency fund, typically this should be approximately 10% to 20% of the overall budget.
Do you build custom cabinets or purchase them from a third party?Both! We have a shop attached to our offices where we are regularly working on pieces for our projects. We often find custom cabinet shops have extremely long lead times which can delay projects. In cases like this we will make and install cabinets ourselves.
What materials should we use on our project?Your budget and project scope determine the material choices, but we can assist in selecting the best materials based on your vision.
How many years have you been in business?Quantum Construction has been in business since 1990 and we are excited to continue working in our community for many years to come.
