Kirk Stockner, Principal
These days Kirk helms an accomplished and multi-talented team, but he started by working as a carpenter with Quantum founder Steve Ladner in 1989 and literally climbed the ladder. Starting from the bottom up, there’s nothing Kirk hasn’t done in his 30+ year building career from digging trenches in torrential downpours to having one of his builds featured on multiple magazine covers, and even written up in Fine Home Building. He maintains his professional standing with annual workshops and has been a solar installer and dealer since 2008. Kirk has an excellent design eye and is able to suggest multiple 3D design possibilities as he walks clients through new projects. There was never a question as to what career Kirk would choose, and becoming the president of Quantum reflects his passion and experience in all facets of his profession. Kirk lives in East Van with his family and enjoys as much time as possible at their solar-powered cabin on Gambier Island.
