The owners of this 1908 East Vancouver character home came to Quantum Construction with a clear vision for their character home restoration. It was not surprising, given that the homeowner is an interior designer. The collaboration they developed together is evident in every room. The character home renovation honours the home’s heritage bones with original mouldings, deep baseboards, and a charming stairway landing bench nook.
While quietly modernizing everything beneath the surface, including a full mechanical overhaul with a heat-pump high-velocity forced-air ventilation system. A new garden suite rounds out the project, adding a beautifully finished self-contained space that carries the same design sensibility as the rest of the home. As the owners put it: this character house In East Van stood for over 100 years, and now it will stand for another 100.
