This home retained its unique 1908 heritage feel with interior mouldings, stairway landing bench nook, and deep baseboards but stepped into the 21st century with fully upgraded mechanical systems including a heat-pump high-velocity forced-air heating system. The spectacular design makeover, including a modern garden suite, was a collaboration between Quantum and the interior designer homeowner.

Thank you to Quantum construction for the beautiful restoration of our 1910 character home. The workmanship is above par in quality and Quantum really listened to what we wanted. We were living in the States during construction and they were easy to communicate and work with—Kirk managed to keep us well informed with photos and his communication was amazing. The job site was kept clean, and the project was delivered in a timely manner. Plus, Kirk was willing to work with us juggling materials and prioritizing projects to keep the construction on budget. There were a few times Kirk was persistent that we do a few things during this reno we had wanted to postpone for later. We relented and were glad we took his advice. He was bang on! Quantum is an honest, sincere company. He has great contacts with subcontractors for specialized areas and he ensures they have the same level of quality he has. I loved that Quantum shared the same enthusiasm in our project as we had!

This house has stood over 100 years and now will stand another 100 years thanks to the thoughtful and knowledgeable tradespeople Kirk manages. We look forward to working with them again although they did such a great job on this house, we are much too comfortable to move!
